Install Kyvenza

Before installing, confirm your Mac meets the system requirements — Kyvenza runs on Apple Silicon Macs with macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

Download

Download the latest .dmg from kyvenza.com.

Install

  1. Double-click the downloaded Kyvenza-<version>.dmg.
  2. In the window that opens, drag the Kyvenza icon into Applications.
  3. Eject the disk image.

First launch

Open Kyvenza from Launchpad or /Applications.

The first time you launch an app downloaded from the internet, macOS may ask you to confirm:

  • If Gatekeeper blocks the launch, open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the message about Kyvenza, and click Open Anyway.
  • Kyvenza uses the bundled Lume backend — no additional install is required.

After launching, Kyvenza walks you through a short first-run onboarding before you create your first VM.

Updating

Download a new .dmg from kyvenza.com and replace the existing app in /Applications. Your VM library, settings, and license are preserved.

Uninstall

To remove Kyvenza:

  1. Quit Kyvenza.
  2. Drag Kyvenza.app from /Applications to the Trash.
  3. (Optional) Delete the VM storage folder you chose during onboarding. Kyvenza will not delete VM images automatically.
